Roll out the mats
If you’re the person who prefers small groups to solo activities, invite three or more besties to your home for a session of yoga. New to yoga? Test the water in the company of familiar faces. Don’t worry about mixing first-timers with experienced yogis. Participants can take the postures to whatever level suits them.
Small group sessions run 30 or 60 minutes. Most groups meet in someone’s home. The park on a beautiful day is another option, or your own backyard. Invite your neighbors! The one requirement is that the area be large enough to accommodate mats for everyone, with space to extend arms freely. As a shared activity, yoga builds community and strengthens relationships. And you feel good. What’s better than that?!
